Sale Football Netball Club has a long and proud history in the local community. Established in 1877, we unite families, supporters and volunteers in a shared love of sport, teamwork and community.
Sale FNC provides unique opportunities to compete at the highest level in Gippsland competing in the Gippsland League - the premier football-netball league in our region, bringing together teams from across the breadth of Gippsland - Bairnsdale to Drouin and Wonthaggi. The league features several footballers from AFL and VFL ranks, as well as netballers from the elite Victorian Netball League (VNL) and past players from the Suncorp Super Netball (SSN) and is considered an elite pathway for juniors from our regional community.

We’re proud to announce our 2026 Senior Coaching Group.
Sale’s 2026 Football coaching group is led by Senior Coach Jack Leslie, alongside Jamie Sweeney (backline), Kane Martin (midfield), Shane Fyfe and Jordan Dessent (forwards), with Chris Laverty driving senior leadership and Ashton Wright leading our U16s. Together, the group brings nearly 1,400 games of senior experience, premiership success, and a strong focus on standards and player development.
Our 2026 Netball coaching group is led by A Grade Coach Julie Gerrand, alongside Candice Johnson (B Grade & U17s), Ella Gerrand and Lola Wilson (C Grade), Janelle Stothers (U15s), and Ellie Laws and Julie Gerrand (U13s). The group brings a strong mix of experience, knowledge and enthusiasm, with a shared commitment to supporting our players and developing our netball program across all grades.
Together, this group brings experience, dedication, and a deep connection to Sale Football Netball Club. We are ready to drive success in 2026 and beyond!
